I heard a lil bit abt Seadrift from a co-worker. My husband and I love to fish. I was wondering how the fishing there is and are there plenty of fish lol.. We usually go to Port A or Rockport, but we wanted to try something new. We are from San Antonio and just curious if it would be worth the trip. Maybe you can give me a lil bit more info. thanks

Seadrift is a great place to fish out of. There are lots of spoil reefs that provide great trout action especially this time of year. Plus the town has some GREAT places to eat and stay as well. There are also a couple of really unique gift shops that are fun to shop at. With Port O’Connor and Port Lavaca also being just minutes away as well, Seadrift is a great place to stay. If you need specific info on anything please let me know and I’ll see what I can do to help.

Iheard a bit about seadrift and we are planing to come ther in may. I LOVE TO FISH but i dont get on boates are there any places to fish off the banks.Please let me know if there are any.Thank you

Just found this site and did not know there was a public boat ramp in Seadrift. I will be down in June to do some fishing with my brother, we are both retired, and would appreciate any information.
