LIVE on beautiful Seadrift Bayfront on Saturday - June 13th - for the popular Miss BayRat contest at 6:00 pm.

Brave men will strut in finery on stage
looking cuter than their dates. The er..., contestants, will be judged on
poise and beauty and by the quality of their answers to earn the coveted
title of Miss BayRat 2008.

Stick around for your chance to pick up
free prizes from LoneStar FM 104.7 until 8:00 that night. The kids won’t
be bored this summer if you net tickets to Schlitterbaun or to other
upcoming events including Concrete Street Concerts in Corpus Christ.

accepting pre-registration for contests: Horseshoes, Washers,
Volleyball, Gumbo Cook-Off, Poker Run, Children’s Fishing and
Crabbing Tourneys, Shrimp Eating, Miss Shrimpfest,
Little Miss, Little Master, Beach Babe, Beach Boy, Pretty Baby, and
Miss BayRat. Vendors are also encouraged to reserve their booth
space. For fee and other information, call Seadrift City Hall at
361.785.2251 ext *21 or swing by. While there, pick up an event schedule and
check out Shrimpfest 2008 T-Shirts and Koozies now available.

Enjoy two days of festival fun, fresh seafood and
toe-tapping music at the 28th Annual Shrimpfest – June 13th and
14th – on Seadrift Bayfront
overlooking the beautiful San Antonio Bay. Beer garden and arts and crafts
booths open at 10 both mornings. Observe or participate in many contests:
Horseshoes, Washers, Volleyball, Gumbo Cook-Off, Poker Run, Children’s
Fishing and Crabbing Tourneys, Shrimp Eating, Miss Shrimpfest, Little Miss and Little Master, and the ever-popular Miss BayRat. Under the pavilion at 4:00 pm on Saturday, experience talents and
antics of American Rock Legends in full regale. Visit the petting zoo and
take a pony ride. Then stop by the
LoneStar FM 104.7
live remote from 6:00
to 8:00 for a chance to take away free water park and concert tickets, cds,
t-shirts, koozies and lots more. Dance under the stars to
Los Desperadoz
on Friday and to
Country Crossin
on Saturday, both beginning at 8:00 pm.
Bring your lawn chairs and stay a while.
Please remember – no glass containers are allowed on the bayfront.
